About St. James
St James Language Center has been the quality leader in private English language schools since it opened in 1995 in Mairena del Aljarafe, Seville.
We have grown to six centres all delivering the same high quality classes to students from as little as three year olds to adults. We also teach in schools in the province of Seville.
We have our own English and Science programme for school age students which makes us unique in what we offer and also attracts many English teachers who not only want to deliver dynamic English classes but something a bit out of the ordinary and more interesting.
Throughout the year we have an activity and social programme including Halloween and Christmas parties, video clubs, treasure hunts, excursions as well as summer camps in Spain or UK/USA.
The two most important things to us are our teachers and our students which is why we have developed an excellent teacher training programme over the years tailored for teachers with different levels of experience so that our students can continue to enjoy dynamic, communicative, fun lessons whilst learning English all at the same time!
Applications
If you want to apply for a job, first please read about our centers and complete the application form below.
St. James was founded in 1995 in Mairena del Aljarafe, Seville. We have three centers in Mairena, Ciudad Expo, Mairena Centro and Nuevo Bulevar, and one center in San Juan de Aznalfarache. We also teach online and in schools in the province of Seville.
Our centers are accessible by metro and/or bus from the center of Seville. The classrooms in each center are equipped with computers, projectors and whiteboards. There is a maximum of 12 students per class.
Our students range in age from 3 years old to adults. They receive in general two 90 minute classes a week, although there are some intensive groups that receive two 180 minute classes per week. Most students in secondary school and adults are seeking a certificate in English such as the Cambridge First Certificate (B2).
Besides the teaching timetable, teachers are also provided with in-house teacher training sessions. St. James also provides teachers with the possibility of attending external training sessions and also online training sessions through, for example, Cambridge Learning Management System.
In the centers teachers receive support from their colleagues and the center managers. The educational team also provides different forms of observations to help teachers improve and resolve specific difficulties in their classes.
Salaries are competitive. They are based on a teacher’s experience.
Interested candidates who fulfill the criteria mentioned on this page should complete the application form below. Any questions can be resolved by contacting recruitment@stjames.es.
